Loved the hotel's quirky decor & cleanliness, friendly staff always cleaning up which was great. The attached restaurant & bakery were handy for quick bites. Appreciated the sauna & garden area for unwinding. Some areas of our room could have had better lighting, but didn't bother us much. Overall, the hotel nails everything you need while keeping a cool vibe, would definitely come back! 🌟

The breakfast was impressive - from fresh fish to tasty yogurt. Slept well, despite some room quirks. Location's top-notch for exploring. Desk staff was helpful but had a rough start. Upgraded to a beautiful suite, worth it! A good experience with friendly service and convenient amenities.

Despite the room being a bit dim and parking being scarce, the comfortable bed, great shower, and lovely outside patio made up for it. The breakfast was delicious, and the staff went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. Great value!

Had a fairly nice stay at lunch and dinner time, everything was brand-new. I liked my room, it was compact and spotless with spacious bathroom. All of the stuff was welcoming and incredible. They provided variety of excellent choices for breakfast that was included.

I spent here 3 amazing days and would stay here again. The hotel was an easy base for enjoying a fairly nice area, next to the town centre, Harpa, and many other attractions as well as bars.

The hotel had a stylish and modern vibe. The staff was friendly and helpful. Our room was cozy with comfy beds and a great bathroom. Some downsides include noisy pipes, odd breakfast selection, lack of air-conditioning, and dark rooms for work. The location was fantastic with great amenities nearby.

The rooms we had were brand-new and the staff was exceptional.

The facilities in the a double room were great, beds were large.

The lobby lounge, flowing out onto a courtyard patio, feels like the beating heart of the hotel. It's a great place to mingle with other guests and soak in the lively vibe. At one point, I found myself unintentionally eavesdropping on a group of locals' conversation about their adventurous day trips - truly amusing.

The first time I stayed, the staff recommended great dining spots. This place suits me perfectly and has everything I need. The Wi-Fi is reliable, and the 24-hour reception and security make me feel safe. The fitness center and sauna are a bonus. I keep coming back for holiday.

I absolutely adored the stylish and hip interior design of the hotel. The fusion of modern industrial decor with a touch of vintage charm was simply delightful. The general areas were very accessible for us seniors, making it easy to navigate and enjoy the hotel's ambiance. , the convenient location next to the old harbor allowed for easy access to the most attractive places in Reykjavik, making it ideal for senior travelers like us.

The only thing I would ask for a better vacation for senior people is for brighter lighting in the rooms. More light would have made the stay even more comfortable for us seniors.

I recently stayed at Exeter Hotel for my trip to Iceland. The staff, especially Van, Stefan, and Kamila at the reception, were incredibly welcoming and helpful in organizing my trip. The location is perfect with a great view of the harbor, and the room was comfortable. The industrial design gives the hotel a unique touch, and the breakfast had a wide selection. Great vibe at the restaurant and bar too!

The rooms at Exeter Hotel are just so cozy and modern. I loved the walk-in showers with the full-size toiletries from an Icelandic skincare brand. It made me feel pampered and relaxed, like a true treat for my stay.

I personally found the garden view rooms a bit noisy. But I guess some people might enjoy the bustling street ambiance.
